A smile that’s worth our money

Guess Philippines recently launched the “Guess Who’s Smiling” campaign to help the initiatives of Operation Smile Philippines in providing “free life-changing reconstructive surgery to indigent children and young adults born with cleft lip [bingot], cleft palate [ngongo] and other facial deformities.”

Kids benefit from cleft palate, harelip mission

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Some 110 children with cleft palate and harelip deformities availed of free reconstructive surgery recently at the Mother Theresa of Calcutta Medical Center here.

Operation Smile Joins USNS Mercy for Southeast Asia Deployment

Operation Smile is joining the United States Navy's hospital ship, USNS Mercy, during its summer 2008 humanitarian civic assistance deployment. Operation Smile will be working side-by-side on the USNS Mercy in four countries: Philippines, Vietnam, Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea.

Marines launch "Operation Self-Esteem" in Basilan
