This page serves to inform you of planned 'CleftWorld' features and changes. If you have any suggestions or ideas, we have a CleftWorld section in the forum where you can discuss these with other CleftWorlders.

Gallery:

The present gallery is a bit cumbersome and we're hoping to refine it and simplify the process.

Groups:

We're considering this functionality. It would enable users to create and manage their own 'groups'. Each group can have subscribers and maintain a group home page where subscribers communicate amongst themselves, set up a group forum and even have a group gallery. We're thinking this might be handy for users who wish to set up a small group in their suburb or city but at the same time we're a bit worried that it might fragment the focus of the site. If you feel you'd like to see this functionality included please register your vote for or against it here.

Donations

We're considering the ability to channel donations via Chipin but are waiting until the software becomes available for the version we're running on this site. Once this is up and running we will be able to nominate 'causes' and can collect funds for this cause. Chipin does NOT charge a fee for funds under $10,000 so any funds that CleftWorld raises on behalf of a nominated cause under that amount goes to the recipient in full.

Localisation

In order for CleftWorld to be a true global community it needs to be available in other languages... so this is a must.

Site Design

Over time we're hoping to redesign the site to make it stand out a little more, make it easier to navigate and generally more inviting and friendly.
